didnt find any of these 3 fights themselves hard.
the problem with the 3rd time is, you basicly have 4 boss fights in a row.
i mean the game saves in between yet its still super annoying doing this in one dive...
Good luck; got him on the second try. Ran out of air on the first; couldn't get away from him trying to figure out the fight.
The player character is an obese man swimming underwater, and controls like one. This kind of precision angling and timing is not appropriate to the game, and it's horribly placed.
Nice game. But kind of short, since this is shaping up to be the end for me.
If you fail the fight, you should be able to restart from the moment you leave the cave. You shouldn't have to redo the whole stealth thing all over again.,
As for the fight, I used the boost with CTRL to dodge attacks, and when he telegraphs the RPG attack, I charge the bat and it hits him every time.
You are my hero sir!
This does work like a charm. Be aware though that I think if you charge up the bat swing it works much better and makes the bat worthwhile. Having said that, I generally swam through him as I did not bother picking up the bat.
I managed to swim around him all the time and getting the missiles to hit him, and I've counted at least 10 bombs hitting him and the fight just keeps going on. I'm either running out of air because I need to swim quickly out of his way, or Dave is simply too slow to move out of his way in time. I never got hit by a bomb, just kept getting hit by him all the time.
I thought the first fight was tiresome, but this one was way more frustrating. Will sadly have to put this game away for now. I don't want to revisit it again anytime soon.
1) The bat does not need to be charged to reflect the missiles.
2) The missiles slow to a near stop if you wait long enough.
3) The missiles always fly into him. You do not need to angle correctly.
It was extremely trivial...
Also, you might as well use the burst dash button and 30% boost speed charms all the time. None of the other charms do anything, and these two are by far the best for both combat and general ocean traversal (the burst dashes are always full speed even if you're at completely maxed weight).
