No hulk hogan?
Seriously? He was awesome in the 1980's, I even saw the match where he fought with Andre the Giant on tv back in the day. His feather boa was awesome and i still have a replica of his ripping shirt and feather boa. Why not include him in the game?

Do you want to know when i met jake the snake the last time he was on drugs and asking for money at a amateur wrestling match i went to? He acted like he was drunk out of his mind.

NOTE: His early career was always awesome and his theme song american hero was super cool. Any chance to add him to your game? You will make alot of people happy when you add him. Just think of him as the captain america of wrestling..he acted that way even.

I would imagine the problem with getting Hulk Hogan into the game is licensing: he personally owns the character trademarks. That's why he could wrestle as Hulk Hogan in WCW, for example, before changing to Hollywood Hogan.

It's similar to the Bret Hart situation. Bret Hart is the guy's real name. IF you want Bret Hart in the game, you have to talk to Bret Hart.

(Edit) And unlike Randy Savage, Hogan is still alive, which means he still holds the rights.

Yea, i could see how licensing issues can cause issues. What about other wrestlers like the iron shiek, or the ultimate warrior, or even Mike Foley? They are all dead at this point. As far as i know..

You almost gave me a heart attack saying Mick Foley is dead. Luckily, he's still very much alive. The Iron Sheik is also still alive.

Ultimate Warrior was a messy licensing situation even when he was alive, with WWF/E holding some of the rights and him having others (WCW could call him "Warrior" or "the Warrior" but NOT the "Ultimate Warrior"). Ultimate Warrior would also be a much more... problematic inclusion given his views and actions outside of the ring (not that the Macho Man didn't have his issues as well).

At least on PC version we potentially will get mods that allow the likes of Hogan and Warrior in the game hopefully.

Could be that Hulk Hogan is a racist POS and shouldn't be included in a game anymore. I am sure money could be an issue but who knows?

Hogan also knows that to this day he is still probably top 3 most popular and well known wrestlers of all time. I bet the cost to include his likeness in the game was astronomical.

I was at Pax and saw a panel with the guys behind this game trust me they know more about this world then almost anyone else. The one developer on the panel did a panel talking about every other pro wrestling game ever made, and he had detailed insight on everyone.

This game is a passion for them not just making it to cash in on wrestling fans.

These guys live and breath pro wrestling they would want to get all the big names in if they could.

You just described my brother..lol. He is in fact right now going to a live version of RAW this weekend with all his friends...almost like this game was made for him.

Well you can have a create a mode and have all the outfits so you can make them yourself.
