In other words, exploration isn't the focus. It's a speedrun all the time.
I'm okay with this.
A: it speed run the map and faster character rank/player rank gain
B: its a loot based game so faster you boss the more loot you get
I'm not huge fan of this idea, but unfortunately this is the most efficient method. So until the devs change how this work, this is the norm.
1. Every other party's level is different. Just because you are below lv 17 doesn't mean others are (except the other 3 ppl with you) If you are below lv 17 anywhere other than "Ruins of Truth and Lies" then it is your fault for being slow af.
2. If you are below lv 17 for Ruins of Truth and Lies. Don't worry. That map sucks by design since tower (the only decent spot for farming exp) is not guaranteed and nearly literally the rest of the map is consoles (Too much space and too many consoles. Exp gain is also horrible). Also spawn points and map 1 objectives are horrifyingly unbalanced.
3. You won't get more loot or exp by killing more stuff. Majority of the loot drops from bosses that has a fixed loot table and chests rarely give you anything useful, if they give you anything at all.
4. You get more character exp from Last hit, MvP and S rank. Thats all. S rank in particular seem to scale according to the top. As an example, if everyone somehow managed to have 0 heals. Then everyone will get S rank for 0 healing. So stalling the end of the match is just going to make the gap wider for no reason, and possibly screwing everyone else over.
For the record, there are no differences between a D and an A rank in terms of rewards.
"Down" obviously works backwards so don't die for S rank.
Dropped gear has its limitation so max you can get from T2 is Rank 50 gear, i think.
That make rushing pointless.
I am rank 91 and i do lower T3 mission and also T2 and T1 for fun after i get bored with non stop Boss Rush.
You can get rank 100 drop from T1 boss as long as you join an Aid request.
You have to be 100 for aid requests to drop 100 gear on T1.
Yes, your point? Get there then. That is if you like the game enough to reach that rank.
I'm slowly getting there myself.
anyone joining in from aid gets loot based on there own player rank so there really is no limitation imo
Second, as someone who regularly accepts aid requests, I can tell you with certainty that the majority of people in tier 1 and tier 2 quests are within that quest's rank; there's hardly anyone above rank 85, maybe a couple 60-70's, that's actively helping out in aid requests.
Third, the rank of the gear the players earn are based on their rank as you know; so the only one getting rank 100 gear is myself in these aid requests.
