It runs barely 30 on my oled am I doing something wrong or did a patch ruin the games proformance what happened

testers didn't have time to reach the central region. the original version (which you have) works better on Steam Deck.

For the record, 30 fps is what Valve consider adequate performance.

I played through the Director's Cut on my Deck, but streamed from my desktop. I got better performance and better visuals - so an all-round better experience - that way.
