It's probably not yours, and you probably didn't interact with it in any way, but a random bit of cargo in your world went from a state of not-destroyed to a state of destroyed.
Aren't you glad that the game told you about it?
It is very annoing BTW. Every time I pick lost cargo, every delivery terminal marks it to be entrusted for delivery by default, and I have to manually deselect it. If I forget to deselect, I get a bunch of "cargo destroyed" notifications. Moreover, when I purposely entrust the lost cargo for delivery, it usually means I'm not planning to go to the destination myself, so why does it end up waiting for me there? It is so wrong from the game lore perspective and from my personal user experience perspective. It makes me ignore the lost cargo unless I'm going exactly to the location where it should be delivered.
I would prefer if the lost cargo I entrusted just disappeared from my world and became available for anyone who wants to finish the delivery, and when they do, the majority of the credit went to them. I'd be content with a meagre reward for just saving valuable cargo from exposure to elements. This way there would be no annoying notiifications and no need to deliver cargo that has been, basically, already delivered.
There's an option to change that behaviour in the settings.
