Does anyone know how to get the this achievement? It seems that no matter how persuasive I am or how good my relationship with Markov is he always rejects my counter offer?

What happens if you try to jump into the tree, I really want to know but I also don't want to have to restart the game again if I die or something.

Markov says stuff about how she needs to conquer us because otherwise the world's gonna end, but I killed her, and the city went back to normal. Was she just wrong the whole time, or are there other endings where something bad happens?
