Any way to turn bloom down/off? Any tips would be welcome. I'm going blind playing some of the stages in this game!
Mexico rally and snow rally's it's so blindingly bright that all I see is a white track and no contours or anything. Playing on 0.3 brightness

This is killing the game for me, even after turning down brightness a good amount. Way too much brightness and bloom makes your eyes bleed and makes the game looks like ♥♥♥♥. Any fixes so far?

Mexico is unplayable because of this. I have brightness set to minimum, but the the road looks like an ice road with sun shining straight at you. I really prefer the cockpit view, but this bug makes it impossible to play in Mexico in dry conditions. Probably some other locations are just as bad, but haven't been playing almost any of them. I'll put a thumbs down in the review until this is fixed.

This is not good at all. I hate bloom and always turn it off. I will be keeping an eye on development to see if this changes. This is making me wonder if I will ever get the game at all.

It does help a little if I use bonnet view or the cockpit view, that is closer to the windscreen so that the dash is not visible.

And there's another thread that says with HDR enabled it's better, but that is not an option for me with my current monitor.

Bumper cam or bust it seems. It looks normal in third person but i'd rather throw up than race in third person.

I don't get why many people have this issue and I don't even without HDR (and with post effects to the max). I even think there is not enough bloom which makes the game look a bit dull. In Mexico and Sweden the ground becomes more shiny (I would say less dull) at times, very briefly at Mexico, but very far from preventing me to see where I go.

Follow shadow82's post, it fixes that issue for me too, I realized Mexico's stages were bright and now not anymore after those engine.ini changes.

I spent the whole day with this fix and it was very enjoyable in all conditions, happy that it works for others. Note that the value I provided are working for me, my graphic config, my screen. Anyone doing those tweak may still have to play around with numbers.

I also have a hard time with the default overexposure, in all stages really. It's a well known UE "feature", lol. Will check this out.
