Steam has built-in drm solutions. Ones that even work well with proton. It is mighty annoying that when I want to play an old game (mirror's edge catalyst) that the e.a.app breaks my install every other day I want to go back to that game! I do not need this kind of superfluous hassle in one of my most favorite game-types, at all!
even nfs 15 still have always online drm, it was released years ago.
As for Denuvo, I’m sure it gets cracked in less than a week. So, all Denuvo does is hurts the paying customer. As I'm always a genuine paying customer, so I get reduced performance and all their bloatware. It is not fair.
I hope EA does what’s right for their paying customers.
Thanks EA.
I have no need for it. It will only hinder.
I'll need every extra ounce or perf i can get, even if it is just 1-3%
I don't want anything hitching my VR experience.
While I agree with the op, asking to remove this requirement is a waste of time.
