Steam Deck?
I’ve seen mixed results on Steam Deck since release and I was wondering if anyone could give me and update on whether or not it works?

It works pretty good but it's a battery drainer. Makes my fan scream and when it gets too bad I lose frames but it's not nearly as bad as it was at launch

I got several crashes and choppy frame rate so not great for me. Drains battery very quickly too so got a refund. Can't recommend it tbh.

I can confirm several crashes, freezes with sound loops. When it runs it does good at medium details @30fps

Just downloaded it again on my steamdeck. Crashed after 2 mins. I didn't even get over 25mph. Proton experimental made me crash even sooner. Does NOT work on deck.

Thanks for the free steam points. I'll buy myself a nice keyboard skin. Keep them coming kiddo

Sorry shouldve tested it myself before posting but usually protondb is pretty accurate,ill download it later tonight and try it.

@Besenwesen I'm curious to hear what you say... Kinda want to get it as well but not supported on deck officially kind of makes me sad...

Runs smooth on low. Low doesn't look bad anyway i don't really see a difference on deck. Automatic settings will crash you, medium has massive frame drops, anything above crashes. I'm running regular old proton, no experimental.

Came around to try it. Crashed my whole steam deck. But I couldn't change the graphics to low

I had automatic Medium and high

i had a much better experience having all settings low except for terrain quality on ultra, for some reason it made the game far smoother, maybe someone can try and confirm? using proton GE 8-3

Aug 2024 played for about 2 hours on my OLED and it crashed on auto settings so I had to turn everything down lol. It turned off my whole steam deck for about 3 minutes
