Online of Offline?

can you play this offline like the other NFS titles or do you need to be online in steam to always play this game?

technically you are allowed to play the game offline the problem is the EA launcher that doesn't connect if you don't have a connection. So because of the launcher it's an always online game if there was a way to bypass the launcher, then you'd be able to play it offline.

You need to be online to launch the game (from the newer NFS games only Payback launches offline). You can go offline while you are already in the game, but then you won't be able to use more than half of your customisation items as they are linked to your EA account. Basically, all the Speed Pass content from all volumes.

I noticed Payback was offline which was great. I loved NFS payback it was my most favorite new NFS title. Thanks. Eventually i will get around to downloading NFS unbounded and play it despite my sucky internet connection

You absolutely don't need to be online to launch the game, yes speed pass items will not be available in offline mode but you can play story mode perfectly fine without speed pass content.

So you can play this game offline? So once I download it I can play offline no issues as I dont need speed pass
