We're aware of players having issues launching NFS Unbound on Steam, and are working on a fix.
We’ll share an update once we know more."

3.1 hours, got my money already back
Ever since purchasing this game, it has never loaded past the splash screen. Always pops up this Error and I've tried everything for way too many hours after Googling the issue.
Gonna try some of the fixes mentioned here.
(Win 10, Nvidia and Intel, have controlled Folder access/Realtime protection turned off in antivirus, turned off OneDrive, clean install, etc)
Did you log out through the EA app?
Interesting, I have it installed on a different disk then where my steam is installed.
Was your issue the "Error Code 8/Can't Save Game" too??
