Heat vs Unbound? Help me decide.
I think of buying some racing game, it was a long time I played some.
Im not a big fan of cars but I love good racing game.
I preffer arcade driving than realistic one.
I loved The Crew and The Crew 2 before they ruined it with microtransactions. :NekoSad:

Which game would suit me better in Your opinion, and why?
Heat? Unbound? Maybe something different?

Thanks for Your time. Merry christmas and Happy New Year! :NekoHappy: :NekoPawRight:

Heat:Good gaming experience for solo player. You never lose for AI.But the online mode is deadtown, and no update for the game.Just clear the story and GG.

Unbound:Story mode AI is very strong even you choose easy difficulty for start. But the online mode is better than Heat because they have update, add some new content in the online mode.I used 30 hours to clear the story mode and played 200+ hours in online mode. The game is not friendly by the beginning, keep playing and make you stronger in the game and beat other player.

It depends on whether you prefer solo or multiplayer. If you like solo, choose Heat.If you like multiplayer, like PVP,choose Unbound.

Thats really helpfull, thanks!

Anyways. I heard that Heat without DLC is still really good game, but if it comes to unbound You should buy the dlc also. Is that true?
Also, why unbound has so less reviews and they are mixed, while heat is that positive in ratings even if more people reviewd? Any opinions on that?

Heat for single player story. Unbound for multiplayer and content. If you plan on sticking to single player, finishing the story, unlocking everything that the game has to offer with speed traps, drift zones, collectables etc. and then buying, customising and upgrading cars, then Heat is for you.

If you want online content, more online game modes (linkups, lockdowns) and a superior multiplayer experience then Unbound is the one. Content wise, Unbound has more cars, more customisation, more game modes, but most of them are online.

Oh, and finally, cops in Heat are OK, and they also serve a purpose in the story, in Unbound they are just annoying with no reason to exist (kinda like MW2005 vs Carbon).

Aight. I decided to buy Unbound but EA together with Ubisoft are holding hands as two worst companies out there.

Can't launch the game cuz' EA says that I need to link my account from the beginning - When I want to login into EA with my Steam it's said I need to change password- When I want to do that I need to give them my account email. If i try with my main email- there's no account with that. I don't even know on what email there is account for EA. I can't find live support EA, Im trying for like 30 mins. Worst company ever.

Create a new EA account with a new email and link that to Steam.

Just get both

I have both. Unbound did an amazing job in the online mode. Way easier to find opponents. Heat is better for single player.

In heat multi is joke and lame, but great solo.
In unbound great mp and lame and joke solo.
i had 2015 payback heat and unb.
I can tell - unbound is best multi, reminds a bit of nfs world(old game)

Both

Both are great games but I mostly enjoyed them for the multiplayer. Unbound has more stuff to do online and more rides but the downside is it has more DLC cars, and some of them are considered P2W if tuned for specific categories. Heat has only the McLaren F1 as DLC which is kinda dumb too but at least it is only 1 car. However Unbound has been getting more updates and more content generally.

Just buy both, for their current price it's a steal ( assuming you buy standard editions ).
PayBack is better than both

I prefer Payback's story over Heat's and Unbound's, but I found the customization kinda lacking. The RNG upgrade system with the cards and MTX was not so good either.
sorry to ask here but can anyone tell me what the differences between standard edition and the palace whatever and so on edition differences? i don't get their stock holder chart meeting session. or simply advise me to buy the best version (not gonna get the mtx add on)
