Game doesn't work AGAIN after update
So on the previous version, it was already not working (couldn't start the game, as it would just show the loading screen from EA App and then disappear). But there was a way to validate game files and then try again with better chances to get it running. Now even that won't work.. EA/Criterion pls, it's getting worse with each update!!

This is happening to me too, just tried to play the game, saw that EA app loading thing and then nothing.

Update:
Had the EABackgroundService disabled in windows services, I manually ran the service and was able to run the game.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Enable EABackgroundService on Windows 11
Open the Start Menu:

Click on the Start button (Windows icon) in the bottom left corner of your screen or press the Windows key on your keyboard.
Search for "Services":

In the search bar, type "Services" and press Enter to open the Services application.
Locate the EABackgroundService:

In the Services window, scroll down the list to find the service named "EABackgroundService".

Once you find EABackgroundService, right-click on it and select Properties from the context menu. This will open the service properties window.

Change the Startup Type (if needed):
In the Properties window, under the General tab, look for the Startup type dropdown.
To enable the service, ensure the Startup type is set to Automatic or Manual. If it’s set to Disabled, select Automatic or Manual from the dropdown menu.
Start the Service:

If the service is not currently running, click the Start button under the Service status section.
If it is already running, you can skip this step.

Click OK:
After selecting the desired startup type and ensuring the service is running, click OK to save your changes and close the Properties window.
Close the Services Window:

Once the changes are applied, you can close the Services window.
Done!

The EABackgroundService should now be enabled and running. If you ever need to disable it, you can follow the same steps and set the Startup type to Disabled or stop the service manually.

thank you for your comments. Unfortunately there's probably another problem for me, as I tried the way with EABackgroundService and Windows Defender. Until now, it doesn't start until the EA App tells me that my cloud is full, as my save files somehow exceed 1 GB. I already deleted and reinstalled the game, but I cannot explain how I have such a big save file.

The folder where it was installed?

My windows defender only lets me allow exceptions for programs, not an entire folder.

But I added the NFSUnbound.exe and the EA App, and still getting Error Code 8 and it won't run.
