Worth getting over NFS Heat?
Title. Even though this game has more like, personality from the customization (your car, character, etc) to the game's artstyle itself is a big selling point for me over Heat.

But i'm wondering why Heat has more players than this newest entry?

P.D: I'm aware that both have desirable selection of soundtracks lol, yet I found Unbound more in the funny side OST wise imo

yes. Heat is an old game now and unsupported, not sure why you wouldn’t get Unbound on sale?

I think most people didn't give Unbound a real chance, they only saw some vids with the cartoon effects and got turned off.

I have currently too many games on my shopping list, tight on budget rn lol so i can choose only one. I actually wanted to get Hot Pursuit because of cops vs racers, but its dead and rigged of cheaters from what i've read, what a shame

I actually liked them, gives Prostreet vibes to a certain degree and yeah, and some of them were saying in the trailers that its a cheap copy of anime, when they are just western cartoons.

Prob most who ♥♥♥♥ on Unbound were MW'05 fanboys because you know, they dont like anything else that isnt its sepia/piss filter with the GTR and it's super "deep" levels of story lol

I finished NFS Heat and I liked it. I bought Unbound Palace Edition months ago for like $5 and am only now getting to it. I think it's pretty good, I think I'll end up liking it more than heat. So far I really like how Unbound presents its risk vs reward system, where money you earn in the day/night is at risk of being lost if you're caught by the cops until you return to your garage and advance to the next day/night.

Another thing I like about Unbound is that, at least early on, you need to get a bit used to not coming in first place. Most "arcade-y" racing games always want you to come in first, but not Unbound, it wants you to place side bets with people who you think you can beat and then do your best to place as high as possible. This combined a limited number of restarts for the entire day makes you carefully consider if you really are able to come in first or if you should just accept a lower spot. That said, after a few hours, you will start coming in first more regularly.

As for multiplayer, I can't really speak to it in either game, sorry if you were looking for more info on how that is.

A great point. NFSUnbound is my first NFS experience and I struggled HARD at first - racing and police and I LOVED the feeling of having to carefully consider the risk/reward aspect etc. It's really satisfying to return to SP now after 1000H in game and destroy the AI racers - testament to the skill increase, which is very satisfying.

I only touched MP after I finished SP story and I absolutely LOVE IT! Much more than I thought I would and the gameplay is only getting more fun with each volume update.

I encourage even the most steadfast, ardent of SP'ers to give MP a try and just see how it feels. I never thought I'd love it as much as I do!
go for unbound aka save wiper its better than heat

go for heat only if you want to heavly mod the game new cars etc

I played it on Xbox and very much liked it, even though I had to start over again, because the Civic is an instant RIP.
