Error F03: Possible Solution

Hello, since 3 days ago i get the Error that my Inventory doesnt load.

I try and search in the Internet for Solution but nothing found.

I have tried to copy my save game file in the documents to my desktop (back up) and delete the save game from your documents folder. Than you can start the Game and join into Playlists and Free Roam.

The Problem is that your complete progress (Singleplayer and Multiplayer) are gone. (No money, no cars, no unlocked items, …)

Important: If you lost your save game or overwrite it, it cant be restored!

If you have the same problem with error F03 that your inventory could not be loaded, it may be (not officially confirmed) that your "Save Game" file was broken by the update (or whatever).

Temporary impossibility:
The developers may or may not fix it one day. Since there is no official statement yet, we can only guess.

⚠️ At your own risk! It is not known whether this is allowed and whether it will be sanctioned with a ban. ⚠️

Before you start with the following steps, it is important to secure your current save game so that if a hotfix is dropped, you can continue with your old save game.

👉 Go to your windows documents folder - open unbound folder - save games - backup directorie or save game file for example on your desktop
👉 If it still exists, delete your save game from the documents folder.
👉 Go to nfsmods.xyz or google "unbound unlock all" and click on the first result for nfsmods.xyz
👉 Download latest release
👉 Follow instructions at readme.txt
👉 Run Game

I appreciate you sharing this fix, although if the progress is gone, then I am not interested - I am Lvl250 with lots of cutom cars that I prefer to tinker with.

Pretty sad that we are on day #3. I don't think we are in a minority with this issue. As usual, EA help on forums is pathetic - EA admins constantly asking ppl to restate over and over the same basic information. It begs the question - wtf is the point of an error code, if you then still require a million other details from users.

Hello Brother from another Mother,

yeah, the ea helper guys are more bots than me. asking the same and same ♥♥♥♥ again.. And nobody gives info about hot fix or something like that.

If they fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ error code, you can transfer your file back into your documents folder and continue playing with your old account.

It hurts.. Im level 96 and have a lot of custom cars, money too and dont want lost it…

Yea, I could put the save file back but I don't see the point if my progress isn't being saved.

OK, so I just deleted my savegame and as you said, I can now play online again, albeit without my inventory of cars and starting fresh.

BUT it looks as though I am still recongnised as being Lvl250 and my speedpass progress is also there and seems as though will be saved.

SO not all is lost!

Yea you right, there is no point to do that. If you hyped because vol 7 dropped and can't wait for the fix than this is a good solution or if you have the error and no multiplayer progress. But in our case that makes no sense.

I tried my another solution (sold cars in singleplayer; try sold cars in multiplayer). I removed all my cars in my single player garage but i cant sell my cars in the multiplayer mode because purchased failed. (dont really get a error message, it does nothing) So this solution doesnt work for me :( I tried to disable my dlcs too but this also not worked.

Yes, you keep your progress for the speed pass or your rank. But the other progress (Hot Laps, Jumps, Money, Items, Challenges (drive 30x A, drive 30x S) and the time you invested is gone.

The question I'm asking myself is whether the problem, if this is obviously related to the save game, can be solved since the file is stored locally on the computer. I just hope that something happens soon and the error can be fixed.

Yes - I was thinking this. I found a post from 9 months ago on Reddit where a user said this problem of not being able to go online due to "inventory can't be loaded" was due to a corrupt car model. So he suggested deleting all cars from single and multiplayer. But as you've found, you cannot delete from the multiplayer.

I've let the guys on the official EA NFSU forums know about the "deleting savedgame" trick - perhaps this may lead to a lightbulb moment from someone.

If the saved file is corrupt, I don't think I want to restart after 800H and lvl250.

Reading through the EA forums... it seems that some people have been having this issue and similar for over a month now with no word of a fix.

I'm rapidly losing hope we'll get a fix and will just need to restart your save.

Thanks for the info. I would have been surprised if ea help had come up with something useful... I've tried it there several times :D

I've already started with a new save game. I also make regular backups of the save game so that something like this can't happen again or at least I have a save game.

If you feel like it, we can explore the free roam together :)

Your last post gave me an idea. I checked my recycle bin - I had the NFSU folder in there from 2 weeks ago. I restored that save file and can play again. Now I have MOST of my cars back, but the problem is I tinker with cars a lot, all the time. A lot has changed in those 2 weeks and honestly, I'm pretty annoyed at this whole situation. It shouldn't be possible to lose hours of progress like this.

I think I'm going to walk away from this game for a while.

Hey buddy, sad to hear but I can understand.

But I have another tip for you brother, since EA is incompetent af.

Create a new save game file, go to nfsmods.xyz or google for "Unbound unlock all", download and read instructions (readme.txt), install, start game, enjoy.

Dont forget to backup your save game file first 😉
