i have the exact same problem i looked online and they said that checking game files for corrupt data was the best choice but it didn't fix anything for me.

i also tried a bunch of other things like clean boot, gpu driver update, bios update, and reinstalling the game but nothing worked for me.

i have an RTX 4060 so it should be well above the minimum requirements i ran the game on ultra settings for 75 hours but then when i tried to open it today it just said this error and i couldn't fix it

Got the same issue. Solved it in next steps: open "Need For Speed(TM) Unbound" folder (i recommend to copy that folder in other place just to have backup) in "Documents" folder, in that folder delete every folder except "SaveGame" folder (for not to loose your game progress). Start the game.

Ditto on this solution. Worked on my friend's laptop when nothing else did all day.
