missing dlc

I own palace edition but game doesnt recognize it. Cant play online either and in game tells me to upgrade to palace edition

you have to delete your gamesave and try again. not sure why it happened to yours but its the case for me since i used mods to get more money. after i created a new save i was able to play online and use the palace edition dlc.

Don't delete your save, the game will delete your progress and you'll have to start over.

Go to documents, open NFS Unbound folder and there should be a game save folder, open it and delete file 1 and it should create a new save when you open the game.

okay thanks, when can i use mods i want to be connected to the server but im not doing online play its just to access dlc

you can keep a backup of your save and not lose any online progress, i have started a brand new game to play out the main story several times, so moving the main save file into another folder(backing it up) will keep your online progress.
the folder location for the save file is found in "my documents" - "need for speed unbound".

Dudes delusional lol. I got my EA Play car without deleting my save. Others will tell you the same thing, this game will not store information on their cloud. Just back up your save incase it happens. I got the game on launch day for 70, played for 4 hours, refunded it, and not even a month later it was half off. I rebought it and lost my save. Game was still broken so I refunded again. Rebought not even a month later for half off because it got updated, and I lost my save again. Had to start over every time I got a refund because there isn't a cloud.

The prologue is pretty long but you can rush right through it if you don't waste time customizing the Nissan. Might as well just do whatever to get those cars before you start.
(Also, you're locked out of buying anything or changing cars until the prologue is over)

I'm here because I want to enjoy this game. You won't hear any feedback unless you look for it, and all the feedback I see is people reporting bugs and game breaking events. Even EA's official steampage is flooded with people just like me, customers who paid for an unfinished product. Some of them paid full price.

the obvious thing to do is make a back up. then delete the save. u can copy the save back if needed. unless you dont care about online at all then just keep going with the same save file.
