Engine Swap?
Do i allways take the latest Engine to get the best result?
How does the "Potentiel" increase? Sometimes the pro engine has more Potential then the elite, i still take the elite?I dont understand this at all.

how does this make sence?
the 6,2 is worse then the 3.0
and in this case the 3.0 is better then the super????

Don't even know what to say. Tuning in Unbound is kind of stupid. Air filter gives lots of hp, when in reality it's 5-20hp max. Engine swaps makes no sence. No camshaft upgrade, tires upgrades are weird. In general 6.2 (any kind of LT engine with a supercharger, like LT4, LT5) is better than 3.0 (even 2jzgte) for racing simply because of low end power. At this point nothing to say. Also, if nfs fans are going to prove anything, I'm immune to that lol

i rly dont understand this..and my potential from my stock engine goes up every time i tune something...thats wierd to me...

When i look at this :
https://ibb.co/2FkLB2Y

I would stay on my Stock engine, but i know that the stock showed less potential in the beginning...i dont understand this at all...

Join the club! heh.. been racking my brain, trying to figure out this tuning! Havent went through several cars so far. Racing in B bracket. Im missing something, a special tune, or something! Dare I say meta tune..

I think the engine swap is just to get a different engine sound and maybe a little bit of a different feel in shifting. I haven't tried it yet but just selecting between the different engines they sound very different so I assumed that's what it was going for, more of a customization thing rather than performance.

So u mean fully upgradet my honda civic 4 Zylinder 90HP engine has the same Potential then the v12 5,2l? ...then they should fix something..
when i can upgrade the same specs ( Turbo, intercoller...) then it cant be the same...but i understand what u mean...but i cant belive this to be honest..

A bit of topic, but I'm considering an engine swap, but the stats show a massive drop, when it says it has more HP, etc. Does that mean that I will have to repurchase the other upgrades for it?

I believe you will have to buy parts to tune again. I think in NFS Heat same engines could share parts even from different cars. I mean if you have 2 cars with same engine, then most parts you can swap between those 2 cars. But you had them in stocks, so if you had one stock of air filter for example, then if you use in one car you don't have it in second car unless you buy second time. And some engines can share some parts if those parts can fit i think.
I hope it makes sense.
But i don't know how it is in this game, it may not be the case anymore.

I have 50k, and the engine is 34k. so i thought that might be a good way to get my car upto a decent S class, but if I then have to spend another 50k+ to get it where I need it, bah I just don't know lol!

it take alot of ingame money testing but making builds for certain classes is what i use it

Well this game uses the Frostbite engine. Which is the same game engine used in heat so it maybe possible.

No. Once you buy the engine/parts for a certain car. You have it for that model to swap in and out. Thankfully.

Ive been playing around with B tier cars, trying to find the perfect combination. Every time I think Ive found one, and race. Its slow, and someone beats me, with either the same car. Or something different lol. Its also possible to buy higher tier, and drop them down as well, too. ugh..

I know I can change the engine back to the old one if I purchase it, but what was asking is if the things like the turbo, exhaust, etc will transfer to the new engine, or do I have to buy them for the new engine aswell?
