Can't get online?

Everytime I choose "Go Online" it just loads for a bit, then gives me a "Connection Lost" message and won't let me play online?

found my solution for online play, my ea account was linked with my brothers PlayStation account and he also plays nfs unbound. You have to unlink your account and make a new ea account and link your steam there. You will lose everything tho, unfortunate. But I passed the game and no need to play story mode will just grind out multiplayer, hope this helps

I was having this issue as well but only when trying to party up with people. What worked for me is validating the game files.

This worked for me.

Deleted the files in the folders below (Origin folder isn't present when EA App installed).
\Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\cache\
\Steamlibrary\steamapps\common\excalibur\shadercache\
\Origin Games\Need for Speed Unbound\shadercache\

After deleting those files I could get into Single Player.

I do have to delete the file in \Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\cache\ every time I want to play because it re-created the file every time you start the game.

Make sure to download the EA App and uninstall Origin app (EA App replaced Origin).
Start the EA App and then start the game from Steam.

So I've sorted out my EA account and all, but it still fails to go online :( Thanks for trying though.

Another thing that may work is try validating files on origin, and also move your save game file to desktop, start the game and go though all the accepts then edit and move the file back to its save game folder then start

On Origin? I'm not sure how to validate the files on Origin, though I've done it on Steam, which didn't work. I'll try moving the save game file out to see if that works. Thanks!
