Frame drops

Well, I have i7, rtx 3070, 16GB RAM and the game runs on 30-40 fps. Is it problem with optimization or with my laptop? Anyone else has that problem?

I don't have that spec, and i can play this POS with 144fps and no issues on ultra/RTX . . . no idea why people are struggling, other than the cartoony crap spamming the hell out of my screen every 2 seconds, and the music being absolute cack, runs flawlessly, pretty sure they'll tweak it at some point, but the game isn't all that lol personally i prefer Heat / Forza 5 over it.

it is very cpu heavy indeed, what gen i7 do you have, even my 12400f stuggles and drops to 65fps at ultra settings in the worst places.

Which i7? New NFS games tend to be more CPU intensive. Lock your FPS to 60, bring up the Nvidia monitoring overlay by pressing Alt+R and check your GPU usage. If it ain't being fully utilized, around %75-%95, then it's the CPU bottlenecking your system.

^ for reference, 12400f with a 3080ti at 1440p. heavy cpu bottleneck but tis abover 60 so im good, also im playing on 4k but made this due to popular demand.
