Do you want realistic, this is not the game for you. Need for Speed is more or less COD while Gran Turismo and Forza are the Battlefields

extremely bad. straight is fine but then during a turn your car is suddenly on ice for cool drifting effect. and you crash. absolute garbage.

If you played NFS Heat, you have your Answer.

It's a challenge for sure, especially coming off of countless hours of Forza Horizon 5. Just a couple of hours in now so I need more time with this handling to form a good opinion on them. The drifting can gain you time if done correctly but can just as easily COST you a position or two in a race if you mess up. You can also tune the handling from drifty to grippy but I haven't spent any time on that yet.

All in all I wouldn't say it's got bad handling but it will for sure cost you a good amount of time to get proficient at it.

very similar to heat

Exact same as heat, takes a bit to get used to if you haven't played previous titles but it feels great once you get a hang of it

You've been able to disable that for a few games now.

This feels more like a cheap Fast & Furious game that gets 20/100 on Metacritic than Need for Speed...

This is much worse than Heat. Wheelspin until you get to the 4th gear no matter how much throttle you apply. Each gear change is like a rocket boost and you loose control over car. Steering movement is still that dreadful rubbery move from underground drag races. Cars handle like long buses not small race cars. And only in cartoons and nfs drifting is fastest way around a corner. This is like back to Most wanted (2015) or hot pursuit reboot. Criterion cannot make racing games. I get it that it's arcade, but there's a way to make a good arcade physics (Forza Horizon, everything Codemasters). EA should give this series to Codies now. Criterion are completely useless and not a single member on that team has ever driven an actual car. This is just sad.

meh, better than nfs 2015, thats for sure. I dont love it or hate it, sometimes cars act very wonky out of no where but nothing to bad.
