$70 is asking for a lot.
It's quite a weird time to price a game at $70 considering inflation is at such an insane high and the dollar is worth less and less by the day. NFS Heat and Payback were just $3.50 and $3 respectively and for most consumers I'd just stick with those.

I'm not talking ♥♥♥♥ about anyone that preorders this or any other game. It's your money and your choice. Just realize who you're giving your money to. How much you're willing to give when you haven't tested a product yet and especially in a franchise that's had a rocky history this past generation.

Not really. It’s a AAA game, and $70 is the new AAA price point. And speaking of inflation, that’s what $60 was worth just four or five years ago, never mind the entire rest of the time it’s been the standard price point. But no one wants to hear that.

Anyway, I’ve never understood why someone would buy any NFS game at full price, let alone preorder.

You gotta be trolling.

That doesn't mean it's worth that much.

I don't understand why people pre-order in general, that's how we end up with $70 price tags in the first place.

It's the new AAA games price tag and is here to stay unfortunately, but it will probably be heavily discounted after 5 or 6 months after launch.
will wait for reviews & video's. Cost of living is so much these days that buying full priced games makes no sense to me, even $10 games are expensive when i have little $$ left after expenses.
Not having even a min spec GPU makes me less likely to buy new games.
gonna go learn a new hobby like guitar or electronic keyboard which i have both of.
Nvidia can go keep those over priced gpu's cause i an't buying that 💩💩💩

Recently on Steam and Origin those titles we're going for the listed price is what I meant.

Only reason I bought Heat.

It's never made sense for digital purchases to be at the same price point as physical media. If $70 is to be the new standard for physical, $60 would make more sense for digital, especially considering that absolutely every publisher would love it physical could be done away with entirely.

70 euros was an instant no buy until I get a discount.

If you're buying games at full retail price you're not doing it right. Same goes for most products, never pay full MSRP, ever.

Unless you were buying a GPU a few months ago. Then MSRP looked really good.
It's cheaper to buy a VPN :rastabot:

Ain't buyin' an arcade RACING GAME at this price. Was hoping there'd at least be a demo.

Lot of full-price games aren’t worth full price. Wasn’t the point.
