If I said which is better ...
1. a 8k resolution cinema size screen completely surrounding me with 3d depth.
2. a flat 27 inch 1080p monitor
I guess its option 2 for you right ?
You are right , NFS is very console focused and rarely gets a decent PC version.
But, perhaps with PSVR2 coming they may have been experimenting with VR ...
am I grasping at straws ? ..... probably :)
no VR support = wait for 90% off
Yeah, that is how it tends to work .for me ...
- I am still interested in new game releases but I cant motivate myself to play them flat screen.
- So I wait for a mod or a proven method for playing the game in VR at an acceptable performance level.
- That tends to take time and / or requires a new graphics card so by that time the game is heavily discounted.
- As VR gains traction developers that ignore VR will see launch period sales declining . Eventually they will be forced to support VR out of necessity.
That is the kind of comment that people make but in practice motion sickness is a non-issue for 99% of people.
I did suffer from motion sickness in real life and my first 50 hours in VR was challenging. But over time I adjusted and now (after 400+ hours)I have absolutely no issue in real life or VR - all of the people I know that play VR have a similar story.
I am not saying there are not a small percentage of people cannot adjust and I guess that sucks for them.
I really don`t understand the negativity about VR - I can only imagine people have bad memories about crappy stuff like connect / Wii.
Playing cyberpunk 2077 in VR is such a mind blowing experience it feels vastly more transformational than any other innovation in gaming history.
I will continue without buying then.
Our only option in this open world kind of game i want: beamng.drive ...
