[HUGE SPOILERS ALERT] Crazy lore theory

I was thinking, what if Iron Lung is actually the sequel of Pony Factory? The skulls we can find in the blood ocean are clearly horse skulls, and the shining anomaly looks suspiciously similar to the energy core of the Pony Factory. What if the quiet rapture was indeed the result of the attempt of the protagonist of Pony Factory to create his own pony army? Maybe something went horribly wrong, resulting into the cosmic disaster. Maybe he even became the creature itself, the eldritch god of this unplanned blood hell. This would also explain the mysteryous structures inside the blood ocean, they could be remains or figments of the former pony factory.

im not sure if its true, if something pony factory came out after iron lung plus events of iron lung have different setting as in that universe people started traveling in space as soon as 1997

Correct, but I assume some, if not most, remained on Earth though. I'm pretty sure pony factory came out first, as part of the first DreadX collection (so not the standalone version, that came out after).
