Computer shuts down randomly while in Necropolis/Nevarra

Hello, was playing the game just fine since it came out but patch 2 really messed everything up for me.

First of all, my appearance completely changed when I loaded up the game (was nowhere near the appearance mirror, didn't recently die, etc...) but thankfully my appearance was saved in the mirror and reset it. Weird but not too bad.

But now my computer completely shuts down every 15-30 minutes while playing. It's completely unplayable. Was playing on ultra before with no issues. Tried high and medium graphic settings, no change. Hair strand thing has always been off for me. Verified game cache, no change.

I have been playing the game on ultra for 2 weeks with 0 issues and this only started happening 2 days ago. Plz help

Im here with the same issue, have played it fine since launch, last night fine, and now i log in and when it loads my character it takes me back to desktop with no reason..Hope there's a fix!

Been having this issue too. My whole computer is consistently crashing if I try to access the Mirror

im also getting random crashes, hard crashes as in my entire PC will just freeze up with the picture freezing and my controller/kb/mouse not working anymore

I dont think its a heat issue either, I tried running at 1080p and that showed only about 50-60% gpu load and fans staying rather quiet, I also did a stress test on my CPU to see if it heats up but that also was not the case, it stayed at around 65C under stress test and system was stable. my PSU should also be capable enough and not be an issue.
Also, one of those crashed actually occured when I tried to alt-tab back into the game, so the system was not stressed at that point at all.

other games such as star wars outlaws run fine and stable.

It was in one of Emmrich's missions where you go to a haunted house. Very Nevarra/Necropolis but not exactly there.

I think you might be right because I soon as I left that area I went back to having no issues. I guess it's an issue with necropolis/nevarra areas. Thanks for the insight my maritime hero
