Confirmation bias on your part. Fans of the story and characters won’t care what they have to say, I certainly don’t. Not every review will be positive or negative. And gone are the days people use reviews as a sole contender for purchase.

Well, even if not listening to authors of videos....just looking at gameplay clips and companions interaction.......it's like emotional empty puppets.
Even 3 days before the release, by all this time since first trailer- I did not find any argument that would convince me that this is a Dragon Age game, or this is 18+(if not including one aspect of the game)

ive seen fextra talk about it for a bit, finished watching skill up and just waiting for acg since the way they rate and talk bout games is pretty on point with how i feel about some games. but so far i feel the biggest mistake is taking the dark out of the dark fantasy of the game the biggest problem which is mentioned in skills video as well.

I have to say Matty is building up my trust in his reviews. I haven't always been a fan but part of what he said about trying not to be so negative in this recent trend of bad games and how it has influenced some of his reviews before...I get. Like it sucks for any real gamer to have to constantly bash bad games but that's the job. To prepare people for what they are thinking about paying for. So my hat goes off to him as he struggles between the line of being a gamer like all of us and wanting to play something great but setting expectations in a fair and truthful way.

There's a clear agenda around injecting negativity and gender politics into forums that will allow it around every game's launch.

Like I get that some of it is kids/socially inept adults buying into clickbait grifters on YouTube/Twitch/Twitter, but this stuff is way too methodical and orchestrated across every single AAA title's launch to not be coordinated trolling.

There will always be a reaction to an action akin to your pendulum analogy. But you shouldn't keep harping on the fact about culture wars as the other 90% of issues brought up were not about the culture war/trans woke.

I agree that both sides have their extremists, but some of the youtubers are bringing up valid points in terms of fun, enjoyment and immersion. Which the extreme end that bought the game are defending to their graves just because they proclaim to be die hard fans.

He is THE reviewer to watch for CRPGs and RPGs in general.
A true hardcore gamer that 100%s everything and experiences everything a game has to offer, and gives a fair and complete opinion.

No other reviewer goes as in depth or covers as much content as Mortismal on any game he covers.
