LOL? Are they now doing shadow ban/hide type thing on negative reviews?
I have given a negative review but my friends can't see/find it on the store page of the game, neither I can edit my reviews to add or change anything. Reviews done by friends are shown at top of review section. They are really taking it to extreme. Makes me recall the shouting bunch of colourful costumes who just screams on your face when you counter them with logic.

Refunds don't count.

Edit- and after reading your review through your profile. It was probably reported.

Yeah, Steam has nothing better to do.

Doesn't address what I said in OP. As long as the 'star' sign is activated, the review stands. And I could edit my ACM review which I also refunded for same reasons, lame story and cringe dialogues and bullock graphics.

Developers have authority over reviews, Steam moderation has no power in that field.

Bruh, you are not that important. No one is trying to silence you, LOL. Your review probably got caught up in the automated system. That's what happens when you type like a bot. Try to be more creative.

They also cleaned up a big batch of negative reviews (instantly went from mixed 50% to mostly positive 75%) but left the fake positive reviews up.
It got from mixed to mostly positive not due to any removal, it got there because lots of positive reviews got pushed into. Check concurrent player numbers, that explains everything.

ah don't tell me you went on about how woke the game is in your review right ?

So yeah I would think Steam are working hard to stop review bombing from people who cry constantly about woke.

It's probably damage control. They are doing it everywhere. Social media is overflowing with positive comments and stellar reviews with high grades while mean comments are either removed or pushed so far down the collumn you'd be too lazy to look at.

You can see that the STEAM forum has some of the comments with either locked to discussion or users banned that said something... unfriendly.

IKR. Just look at Steam global stats, DAV at 29th place LMAO, while MHW beta is with 500K average players

Yes they are, everywhere. Asmongold got forever ban due to videos he did, or posts he did, so did anyone on his sub-reddit. They're doing mass bans on anyone being negative about the game.

You could actually stop harming your brain with all the guessing and just go and read my review, also don't miss the review comment section :)

Review count is too low for the player count, they cleaned up bad reviews.

They try to control reviews, like they controlled which media outlet could play the game before launch and who can post on their subreddit.
Not actually, only 10% of players actually write a review and that is also so early. Wukong had like 3 mil players, how many reviews does it have? Please don't just say something without any knowledge.

They really shouldn’t be allowing reviews for 0.3 hours of gameplay anyway for any title. Jeez
Your review is visible. If you refunded (which, since you don't own it I'm assuming you did,) it simply won't be shown on the store page review section unless people manually filter their review view to include all reviews instead of the default, which shows only current owners. Your review is also visible on your profile.

Edit: Actually, I think refunded reviews disappear from the store page and don't get counted as someone else said. I've seen reviews that say "product refunded" though on the store page, so I'm not sure what the process is there. As to editing it, I have no idea. I can always edit all of my reviews. But your review is visible on your profile.

In any event, I don't think anyone is being shadowbanned per se, unless the review violated TOS of course and was reported. They reserve the right to remove violating reviews. Beyond that, it's just the "refunds aren't counted" rule I suspect.
