With 300+ friends on my friends list... it is strange to see NO ONE talking about or wanting/wish-listing this big triple A game!

nobody cares about the game. I think this game may teach studios "customer engagement" isn't the same as people buying the game. If the top scars didn't exist in the character creator would anyone be crying for them? NO. Its a marketing ploy. It's there so people talk about it.

I am reserving judgment, personally. Not for the reasons seemingly everyone else discusses, but simply because, while I've enjoyed every Dragon Age game to varying degrees, the last BioWare game I truly, unreservedly loved, was DA:O. I don't care about the culture war nonsense, I'm just awaiting more gameplay and stability and performance reporting/analysis, to make up my own mind.

There are a few things that bother me here. Fextralife explained that they did a preview of the game. It was mostly good, but there were a few things they were concerned about. So, what happened? They were ghosted after a long relationship with the publisher/developer. They were not given a review copy either. It seems that the people that DID get review copies were shills for the studio. In addition, a lead there has been fighting with fans of the series calling them tourists when in fact he knows very little compared to those that lived the universe since Origins. Another bad idea in my eyes. Finally, they've injected this non-binary BS into the game, which is NOT the place for this kind of ideology. I have nothing against people that want to live their life, but when it's contrived and forced into an existing universe where it never existed before just in an effort to be politically correct or not piss off a group of people, that's where I just lose all interest. And I was REALLY looking forward to this one.
