"White" Skin Tone Request/Fix
Hello,

I do not know if EA/Bioware look at Steam discussions but just in case.

Can we get an actual light, white, "fair" skin tone?

Bioware need only look at their developers who are from European ancestry to know what white skin looks like. I know most Bioware developers are white.

The white skin tones in the game are not really white. The white skin tones look like early jaundice.

I am Latino (Mexico) but have lighter skin as those from Guanajuato usually have and even for me the "white" skin tone is too dark and uncanny.

Mass Effect Andromeda has this problem as well but that game was obviously abandoned.

Sorry for bad English and grammar.

I tried the character creator. It's weird that the melanin stops at 60%.
I also tried to use the melanin slider but it looks uncanny. My Rook ends up looking like Jaundice and Albino.

I don't know, I've seen a few pale characters in this thread.

This thread feels political and reactionary. There are plenty of white shades for skin types in this game. Let the arbitrary combativeness go.
I was re-creating Zevran form Dragon Age Origins in the Editor. The Lighting during caracter creation is so horrible bad. Had a rough time to get his skin-color correct

Funfact: Andromeda had this problem too at release. it had only different brown and black skin tone, the most "white" ones were patched in later per fan request (like they also did in hogwards legacy).
You can still notice it in andromeda character creator when you slowly go from brown to white and it suddenly makes a jump in color change instead of a smooth transition.

I did not know that, guess I'll play it again 😁
My Rook is pale. Try a different complexion.
As very pale scandinavian I had issues with this as well. Especially when I wanted to make myself as Rook for thrid run. Tried the complexions but still ended up looking, like if I got a very strong tan.
"Early jaundice", lol
I am pale white, redhead and my character is a pale redhead. I used cool tone, smooth1 setting and option 1 or 2 on skin color. She looks fine, fairly white. I think it's the lighting in the game what makes you look sort of yellowish at times.
You can make very pale but even people with very light skin tones can seem to have a darker complexion in different lighting in real life. It's not like Andromeda.
Flat asses/boobs but obligatory shades of melanin?

Bioware just trying to piss off everybody.
not much of the inclusion if white people and biologically accurate women are not included in the game lol

No, you cannot. Racist.

Get a better monitor.
You can already make people unrealistically pale if you play with the settings. So either you are doing something wrong or you are trolling.
