Its published by Gearbox, but Blackbird Interactive is the actual developer, and is an independent studio, not part of Gearbox as a whole. So they still fall under the category of indie, as they're not signed fully with them. (Would love to be proven wrong, but i'm almost certain BBI is independent.)
Because it's misinformation.
You have no idea how it works.
You aren't providing proof.
All Denuvo does in terms of read/writing is creating offline tokens and reading them.
This HAS been proven by both third parties and obviously Denuvo themselves.
Absolutely doesn't. What the heck are you talking about.
edit:
just googled the technical information about the product.

It's literally a 5kb file that is being read and created each time you start up the game
No it doesn't "lmao"
Show me.
Denuvo doesn't read ♥♥♥♥ on your PC.
Are you confusing it with anti cheat or something?
Googling and typing with me here on steam "destroys" your SSD more than Denuvo does.
How did your SSD survive Warhammer? Guess you were lucky!
Are you seriously suggesting that 50-100mb matter when it comes to writing on your SSD/HDD? You switched goalposts so hard I didn't even notice that all of a sudden it's no longer about reading/writing on your HDD/SSD
Either way.
Here are some links for people who want to know how the programm works and tests by users who also debunked the rumors made by ♥♥♥♥♥♥ people.

Just wow...
Yep!
Why are they paying for a "service" that damages their game's performance, risks damaging users hardware, AND DOESN'T ACHIEVE WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR.
