Double click on the shot where the laser sight dot appears. Then, expand the take in which the Sniper was recorded (if you only took one take in that shot, it will be "take1"), and expand "Game Models". Look for a yellow strip called "class C_SniperDot_ChannelsClip". Make sure the playhead is NOT on top of it, and delete it. If you delete it while the playhead is on it, it will freeze in place instead of disappearing (I don't know if it's temporary or not, but better safe than sorry, right?).
Lastly, a tip for your future works:
When rercording a take, DO NOT leave every recording option checked. It will only clog up your shots with unnecessary information, like a bunch of cameras, duplicates of every prop in the level, etc. I for instance most often only leave "Players" on. Make sure you check "View From Player" at the bottom however, if you're not recording a camera.
Ok, I figured it out, for some reason the deleting in the game models wasn't working but i pulled it up in the element viewer and unchecked "visable" and not it's gone.
Thanks for the tips and help, very much appreciated
.............how do I show clips again???? ;w;
