How to export map as .bsp from Hammer for SFM?
All the tutorials I've found just say to "run map" and then they assume that that created a bsp file of it somewhere. I've made a simple custom map from scratch in hammer, I want to export it as a bsp file to put in my usermod folder and use in SFM. When I tell hammer to "run map" though, it just made a .log file and a .vmf file. How do I get my map as a bsp file?

I'm having problem, when i go to publish the map, it doesn't appear in the folder.

dank necro fam.

When you click "save as" you pick the folder where hammer spits the map out. So click "save as" then pick the destination (desktop, sfm folder, etc) then compile.

when i hit run game it tells me my bsp file for the map is missing and wont open it what do i do? i really need help ps the hammer page didnt help

You probably have a leak. Check the compile log and read what errors it gives.

same, when i compile the map it says "The system couldnt find the specified file" errors in next message

Posts: 17
