The best place to start is with the official Steam Tutorial. You can actually follow them along because the files required and the tutorial dmx are installed with SFM.

First go here and watch the first couple of tuts.

When your ready to take the plunge, the tutorial files are found on your hard drive here

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\tf_movies\elements\sessions\tutorials

Start SFM and select File Open, the point your browser to the tutorial you want to work with.
