The mvm maps are located in the "Team Fortress 2 Content" Game Cache File. You can access and extract them using GCFScape.

You can either add them to the sourcefilmmaker\games\tf\maps folder or add them to the usermod\maps folder. Whether or not they will work in SFM, I don't know, I haven't tried them yet.

The other thing is that in order for them to work properly, all the models, objects, particles and such that are used in the map have to be extracted and available in the correct folders under SFM. If you find that you are getting a big red ERROR in the map, it means that the map can not find an object that it requires.

I can open the mvm maps now, but when I move the camera near the middle of the map I see a huge pink square go across the map, di you know whta might bw wrong?

Ok, Mr. Chillinut... Working on another problem right now with someone else... I'll get to yours in a few minutes

This is the problem I told you about earlier, I am getting the same thing. The objects that are appearing are pink and black squared. This means that not all the models are available or have materials that are not available or do not work in SFM.

Is is possible to fix the problems with the valve hammer?

Not sure, I've only started to play with Hammer and the other SDK Tools. I am not having much luck with it. It appears that each game has its own flavour of the programs in the SDK, and it is sort of a pain. These tools were written so long ago (like for Windows 95) that I am having real compatability problems using Windows8 and the documentation stinks.

Oh, I think the problem is you need the script.
I think you have to update the maps, since SFM doesn't have any new elements from TF2 now, you need GCFscape to update the maps with the materials.

You need the materials from the VPKs only if they error out in the maps. To get the maps you have to copy them from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps folder to your usermod\maps folder
