Source Filmmaker randomly crashes
Occasionally sourcefilmmaker just
disappears

then progress is lost and i become angry

what causes this random crashing?

It's crashing more often now.

Any tips on how to lower Mem?

Might be memory leaks. can happen if running sfm for too long, or going to long without restarting. Also browsing the models too much.

is your little counter in the corner called "mem" going to red?

then again, it can happen if you look at it in a funny way.

Right now my mem is at 3010.73 MB and red.
Probably not the best mem.

Looks like your computer memory cap might be 4gb, maybe 6, you've used more than 3 in SFM alone.

what is the deal with the mem thing going red and crashing more often once in the red anyway? i don't understand why it goes red for me around 2500mb if my video card alone has 3gb and my computer 8gb.
