Is session recovery possible?
I was almost finished an animation that took me a VERY long time to make, and SFM randomly crashed. Me being me, I forgot to save any of it. Is there ANY way at all I can recover my session, or am I doomed to create the entire thing all over again? Thank you for your time.

The only way is to check and see if there is a .bak file with the same name as your project, if it exists, then you rename your project.dmx to a new extension and the .bak to .dmx and load that. If it doesn't exist, then you're back to square 1.

I looked for the .bak file, and it was nowhere to be found. Looks like I'm back to square 1, like you said -.- Thanks for helping, though

there is an autosave script floating around. it's not the best, but it will help a bit.

Doesn't SFM support autosave since yesterday's update?

I didn't even know there was an update yesterday... Now that I think about it though, I do remember Steam downlaoding something. That was probably it. Thank God they added autosave-- now I don't need to worry about things like this anymore! :D

Well it was a long time coming but I guess it shows that the SFM Project is still alive and Valve is listening.

There was an update last month, not really that long.

What I meant Berry, is that we've been screaming for the autosave since the launch of SFM. Now we have it...

Herp derp, sorry! I misread everything... which isn't new to me. ;3;
While it's a great feature, I suggest everyone saves multiple files for different passes.
