If by "Android" you mean phone, nope. If you mean something else, it depends on whether it runs a version of Windows that's compatible with Source FilmMaker.

I mean Tablet, guess I'll install win then.

More important question, is your 'tablet' has minimum requirement to operate SFM like processor, GPU, RAM and more?

Don't laugh, I run SFM on my Asus T-100 Tablet. However it is Windows8 based. It's slow and clunky but works when I'm in a pinch for something or to test a theory. I would never be able to render anything big from it, but have done images and posters.

I doubt that we'll see an android version though, the community is still waiting for a Mac and Linux version. I haven't looked at the store, but I don't think Steam caters to Android at all. If it does, then it would be a VERY small selection of stuff.

Yep but I dont think it's good idea for him to start learning SFM with such low performance on the tablet though.

Well, I guess I'll scrap the idea in that case.

There's Steam for android, but it's only a communicator. As far as I know, there are no games available for android.

Yeah, community, chat and store on the mobile app. Forgot about that, I only use it when I'm desperate... lol. Wastes too much cell time with the constant updates to page content. I try to only use it if I'm in a free wifi area and find it hard to yurn off if I use it.

But they don't have sfm for consoles yet.

Though i am curious what it'd be like to animate with a controller.

well, it would certainly make freeform animating (motion editor > play > move crap) easier. XD

why not Wii U support? Animating on the gamepad FTW!
