Non-blurry textures in Blender?
I am making a model with my Minecraft skin, but since there isn't a smooth transition from one color to the next, the model ends up blurry. How can I fix this?

When you say blurry, do you mean overlapping each other or the textures look like they are stretched?

I guess stretched... Can't really see the differences between pixels.

To disable texture filtering in Blender, go to File > User Preferences..., System tab, and under OpenGL uncheck Mipmaps.

That's only gonna affect your preview in Blender though. To make an unfiltered texture for use in Source, you have to check the Eight Bit Alpha flag in VTFEdit (or whatever VTF exporter you use).

Well, I have checked the Eight Bit Alpha Flag (and it is checked) in VTFEdit, but there is still a blurry texture.

Oh, you need to check No Mipmaps and No Level of Detail too. Forgot about those.

Still hasn't worked yet... even when I checked those and saved and re-exported the model...

how big is your texture? 8x8, 16x16?? If you're using the textures from in game, they are extremely tiny (if I remember correctly.) You may have to remake them to add resolution to the skin. (minimum 64x64)

Disable mipmaps and interpolation. Can't remember if that's exactly it, but it might work
