This response is similar, but this response uses radius_max and radius_min.
What I did is select the unusual effect, in this case Smoking, view it in Element Viewer and then select 'Instance Particle System'. Then I clicked the 3 dots to open up the Particle System Editor. After that, going to 'unusual_smoking_drift' and expanding 'child'. Scroll all the way down to 'operators' and expand it. Expand 'Radius Scale' under 'operators'. Then you scroll down to 'radius_end_scale' and 'radius_start_scale'. Play around with these a bit until you find the right size. A higher value for a bigger particle system and a lower value for a smaller particle system. I then did the same with 'unusual_smoking_base' as I did with 'unusual_smoking_drift'.
I know this is an old discussion but, Where's Radius scale? I don't see it.
Edit: Nevermind I found it.
