Source Filmmaker

USB/Portable SFM
Is there a way to get SFM to work off of a USB flash drive? That way I can take it with me when I'm on the go. Probably not, but worth the ask.

Not sure if you can set up a Steam Library to a stick or flash card I haven't tried but, try... (Steam Client, Steam, Settings, Downloads, Steam Library folders) then Try and set a steam library up on your SD/USB... then try to install to that library...

Alright, I will give it a shot. Thanks.
BAD IDEA! it would be SO SLOOOOOOW.
Unless it's a USB 3.0 then it would be just meh.
I agree, but I believe that would be the only way to do it to go to a stick or SD type card.

Trust me, it's one of the faster USB 3.0 drives out there. Not keen on using a floppy disk.
How about ThunderBolt?

I don't see how that would be practical.
I have used Team Fortress 2 and Source FilmMaker on a 32-GigaByte Universal Serial Bus stick thingie once. It was slow, and also pretty faulty. You are much better off finding a USB 3.0-compatible external harddrive (I have one, and it works great), and using that instead. Preferably one that needs a charger to be plugged in, too.
