Snapping object to hand after locking? Difficulties arising.
Alright, so I locked a hand to a guitar model by dragging the corresponding bip bone over the rootTransform of the guitar.

Locks are created. I can move the hand and the guitar moves with it, but when I go to snap the guitar to the hand by holding down shift as I move the rootTransform, the root moves freely from the guitar and that's about it.

I feel like there is a simple answer to this and I am blatantly missing it as if I'm mentally blind.

Anybody got anything?

I'm not quite sure I understand, but if the problem is that the guitar's roottransform does not move the guitar, that most likely means you also applied a lock to the guitar's secondary root bone, so either remove said lock, or use that bone instead to animate the guitar.

Hmmm, the other bone would be the "static_prop". No lock is placed on that, and when I use that bone instead, the same results apply when trying to "snap" it to the hand. I'm more or less okay with manually moving the guitar into the hand, I'm just curious as to why I can't use the shift feature like in the "Pose to Pose Animation" Tutorial. Thanks for responding :]
