Well, as you can hear in this preview, the voice is echoing. Any way to make that stop?

Go into the element viewer for the sound (by right-clicking it and clicking Show in Element Viewer > Sound, I believe), and add a # in front of the filename. That has to be done for every single non-echoing sound, though, so it can be a bit tiresome.

A different way to do it for all sounds is to first export the video itself without sound, then loading the dark_room map, and then exporting the audio, and stitching it together with the video in a video editor. This method is easiest to do when using image sequences.
Thank you for your fast reply. I will check it out.

you can just put the sound in music instead of dialogue since it has different settings

No, it doesn't. Dialogue echoes, Effects echoes, Music echoes, everything echoes unless every single sound is individually set to not echo.
