How to scenebuild?
Is there a guide or tutorial that teaches you how to scenebuild?

Not really (that I'm aware of). Just place models together to form a scenery is probably the best advice you can get.

None that I know of. basically, just try to picture the scene/room/exterior in your head and construct a set for it.

Designing a scene would depend on your creativity.

It would've been easy if the stuff I need is actually existent.

it might. why you grab every model, model pack and source game you can. never know what you might find or need.

There are tonnes of panels and windows/doors, ruined buildings etc, in the workshop or in SFM by default or one of the DLCs. You can place these into white void/black void etc to make whatever scene you want.

What I would like to know is how people do the lighting and get rid of the white/black backgrounds, etc.

Just add lighting and there's a dome-shaped skybox model in the workshop.:special:
