How to change the Meet the Engineer skin? (without copying)
I have tried to do the right click, change skin, and I have tried to override the materials, but nothing works. However, when I look at the model in the element viewer, the number for skin is unchangeable. Is there a way to change this?

If you mean to change his team color, you first have to select the clip that you want the skin changed on, and THEN set the skin you want.

Does not work in MMT Engineer Juggernaut... I had to actually change out the engi, lock the old engi to the new engi, aero and then flip the skins on the newly spawned engi. The skin selection on the movie model (and the sentry_sfm model) are locked somehow.

Really? Huh, didn't know that. Sorry.

So, quick question: How do I exactly copy the mouth movements (phonemes, emotions, etc.)?

And one other question: why, when I copy/paste the movements, does the pelvis and root transform copies make the new HWM model vanish?

the sounds are actual animations on the time line, when I zeroed the new engi into the seen, he picked them up.

I know how to zero the new engi to the old engi, but how do i zero it into the scene?
Pte Jack Feb 9, 2015 @ 5:53pm
for each shot with the engi in it drag the scene engi onto a newly spawned engi and zero in motion editor mode... change the skin on the spawn and turn off the movie engi ... now done!

However, there is still the pelvis and root transform problems...

Ummm why, you're replacing the model, you want it to be completely zeroed.

I found my solution, thanks for the help!

Actually... The phonemes don't zero in...
Pte Jack Feb 10, 2015 @ 4:29pm
No, phonemes don't, but do write animation channels for the sliders. Zeroing applies those channel to the model that is being zeroed. the channels were animated on the red engi in the MTT session, so zeroing "should" apply the phoneme animations to the Blue Engi.

Hmmm. I need to update that last statement. I just redid a blue engi into the mtt-engi. I spawned the the new engi in each shot, changed its skin to 1 (blue)., locked the red to the blue, zeroed the blue into place and turned the red engi off. I unlocked the now blue engi and had to default the face back into place which wipes out any facial animation. From there Ihad to unlock and activate the dilogue and mute the combined sound track, then with the proper shot selected, select the engi's face, show waveforms on the dialouge track and reexport the phonemes for each sound that had to be lipsynced. A long and tedious process for sure, but that's how I got the lipsync back.

Or, instead of any locking involved at all:
Spawn new HWM Engineer with skin 2
Go to the Motion Editor, make sure all time is selected
Select the Red Engineer's animationset
Ctrl+C
Select the Blu Engineer's animationset
Ctrl+V
Make Red Engineer invisible
Repeat for each shot
