Ambient Occlusion - problem ... [Know why you can't fix AO]
I have problem with my ambient occlusion. It's not rendering, when I render video. It's so annoying. My specification:

Graphic card: Radeon (TM) HD 6490m

Chipset card: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.2GHz

If someone have any idea WHY my AO isn't working ... I will be gratefull :)

TEXT ABOVE IS OLD ---> Why AO isn't rendering:

Why you can't render AO? There's a chipset that's name is Intel ... If you have graphics card like I have or high than mine SFM can work and you can create films but ... If Intel is like mine you can't render AO ... That's the problem.

Your system should handle things ok, did you turn off AO while you posed your character for your clip, (right click the viewport, select Render Settings and turned off AO) A lot of ppl do this and forget to turn it back on before rendering. If that's the case, turn it on again.

Did you accidently toggled the AO button off when exporting the video?

I click Export with all settings on. Depth Of Field, Motion Blur, Subpixel (...) and Ambient Occlusion are on.

Ehhh ... I think I have to wait for fix this.

alot of the settings in the export window are broken and won't actually work. to really make sure of your settings on export you have to right click the viewport, select render settings and set your settings there.

A lot of functions are broken ... this is true. When I click on viewport and render settings I cilck AO but I can't see any differences. Maybe I have to download some drivers ... I don't know.

I've heard of that problem before. Could you click the show AO checkbox, and show us a screenshot of what the viewport looks like?

What kind of lighting are you using... or it just might be the map lighting itself.

The Format must be "wmv" and not "mp4"! Mp4 don't work! :)

Are these custom models, I just noticed that they look kind of blocky in the SAOOnly picture, like they haven't been smoothed before they were compiled.

I don't have a WMV format available out of SFM, How do you have it??? What did you load to give you that codec???

I understand that you just want to fix it, but if the models are custom, they may not have AO in their materials.
