Maps are reportedly trickier for various reasons, but I honestly haven't tried them yet.
Combine the ease of porting models with Half Life Source and there's honestly no real point to a Goldsource Filmmaker. Due to the difficulty of developing such a thing, it'd likely turn out similar to Real Time Movie Studio for UT99, with the same problems.

WHAT?!?!
To support a GoldSrc material, a VMT needs to contain four lines, three and a half of which will always be the same. (And two of those "lines" are just curly brackets).
Writing VMTs isn't even within a lightyear of being difficult enough to justify the creation of a GoldSrc Filmmaker.
