Importing Custom TF2 Taunt?
To start off I would like to say that I and pretty new to Source Filmmaker so I am still learning everything. My main problem is I do not know how to add a custom taunt.

So here is whats going on. I downloaded a taunt skin for my spy model. I used it in TF2 just fine and I loved it so much that I wanted to make a film with it in SFM. I added the skin into the custom folder of TF2 as a .vpk file and now I don't know how to take that and put it into SFM. I tried looking up how to do it, but I have found no luck.

Thanks in advance,
Kenny

SFM doesn't read VPK addons, so first you need to extract its content with GCFscape. Now if I'm not mistaken TF2 taunt addons contain an override of the character's animation MDL file, so you should have this file stricture in it: models\player\spy_animations.mdl. You would then merge that model folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\usermod\, that way the Spy should have the replacement animation(s). You can delete that MDL file once you're through using it and want the Spy's original animations back.

There we go! Thank you so much, I have been trying to figure this out all day. So yeah it just replaced the original with the new taunt I put in.

Wait you just put it in usermod or do you have to put it in models or maybe materials?

Like I said, merge the "models" folders.
