SFM SDK search path
Hi,
I wanted to create a custom folder and searchpath for my models for not createa mess with the default one but I have an issue...
So I did this steps:
1.created a new folder in SFM directory and iI called it "File".
2.I went in the Usermod folder, clicked on gameinfo.txt and I've added the search path.
3. I opened SDK and I clicked on "search path" and I selected my folder: File.
4. I run SFM and everything was there.

A week ago it worked. but since I had to reinstall steam and sfm again I had to redo this again as well..
but this time didn't worked, I don't know why.
when I go in the SDK for adding the Search Path my new folder isn't there and neither when I run SFM... now I don't know what to do because I did exacly what I did before and I don't know why this time it doesn't work, please hekp me ç_ç

FIle is not a really good name to call this folder... but, to keep with your scenario I'll use it.

The folder "File" has to be in your SFM Game folder. If it is there, at least one of the following folders has to be in the "File" folder... Materials, Models, Particles or Sound. (Usually Models and Materials are there). If one of these folders aren't there, the SDK function will not see the folder for selection.

So, Go to your "FILE" folder in the SFM Game folder and drill into it, there you should see Models and Materials folders. If you don't, that's why!
