Trying to Export SFM taunt to TF2, weird bug in animation
So I created a taunt in SFM and am now trying to publish it so I can test it in TF2. It MOSTLY works, however I get a strange bug where just the right hand doesn't animate at all -- all other body parts animate correctly. I'm very confused because otherwise the animation looks correct.

I animate in SFM, then export it, then open and export it as an .smd from Blender, then compile it back into TF2. The animation completely works when viewed in Blender

I used this tutorial, which I've had 100% success in the past doing

I do NOT use the export as taunt script, but follow the tutorial exactly.

any ideas?

Shouldn't really be happening. Are you using a custom model? Are you sure you've exported every bone? Check the console for errors too.

no, I am using the default Sniper model. is there a way I can check that I exported every bone? exporting from blender returns no errors. and to clarify, it looks CORRECT in blender.

Maybe you should export taunts as taunts. Just an idea. (They SHOULD work right off the bat if done that way, with no Blender involved.)

Also make sure you use player/sniper.mdl, not player/hwm/sniper.mdl.
