Add override materials to the Lugermorph, go to its materials, and add a Float called $Color or $Color2, then try setting the colour to 0.5. Adjust the colour as necessary afterwards.

you mean go to the.vtf file and add it?

No, the override material.

but what do you mean by go to its materials?

I mean the override material added after you add override materials.

Right-click on the lugermorph's name, Show In Element Viewer > Model. Scroll all the way down, click the + of materials. Right-click the first or second material (if it has a red/blu skin) and add attribute > float, name it $color or $color2 as Vintage said.

i can only see float_array
Zappy Aug 19, 2015 @ 4:59am
There two sets of items to add. First a non-array one, then an array one, in the same order. Provided you're adding it to the material you added earlier.

float is 3rd from that list that pops out when you put your mouse over Add Attribute.

No there's not. So right-click c_tgg_gun (on the left), choose to add a thing, then find Float (stylized as float) in the list. It should be somewhere near the top of the list.

its started off at 0, and if i raise the number it gets brighter, does it only work when theres not a light on it?

Only raise the number between 0 and 1. Not higher. Try something like 0.1 and if that's too bright try 0.05 or so. And of course if 0.1 is too dark, increase it to 0.5 or so. Max is 1. Min is 0.

If you read comment #1, you would see I already said you should set it to 0.5 at first.

...No, the maximum value is 9999999933815812500000000000000000000, the minimum value is -9999999562023526200000000. At least when I just checked right now, that is.
